The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office is requesting public assistance to help locate 16-year-old Eternity Pittman of Carpinteria. On March 1, 2018, Pittman attempted to run away but was returned home.
At approximately 1:20 a.m. this morning, March 30, 2018, one person was killed and four others were injured in a two-car collision that occurred in the City of Goleta. The collision, involving a blue Hyundai Tucson and a white Toyota Camry, occurred at the intersection of Hollister Avenue and Storke Road
The female decedent who was located yesterday morning, March 27, 2018, on the beach near the Seal Rookery in Carpinteria has been identified as being 37-year-old Anita Rebecca Ruiz of Santa Barbara. Next of kin has been notified.
